Example 1 (three formats, same price): Odds for Team A to win: decimal 3.00 = fractional 2/1 = American +200. A ৳500 bet returns ৳1,500 if it wins (৳1,000 profit + ৳500 stake); if it loses, ৳500 is gone.
Example 2 (favourite team): Odds for Team B to win: 1.25 (fractional 1/4, American -400). A ৳500 bet returns ৳625 (৳125 profit). American minus odds show how much you need to stake to win ৳100.

Single Bet and Multi Bet
Single Bet
One selection — a bet on the outcome of one match. Simple calculation: stake × odds = return. If the bet loses, only that stake is gone. It's a good idea for new players to start with single bets so they can focus on one event at a time.
Example: Team A at 1.45, Team B at 2.75 — place ৳500 on Team B; if Team B wins, ৳1,375 is returned (৳875 profit); if Team A wins, ৳500 is lost.
Multi Bet (Multiple Selections)
Adding multiple selections to the bet slip at once creates a multi bet. All the odds are multiplied together, so the potential return is higher — but every selection must be correct. If even one is wrong, the entire bet is lost.
Example (3 selections): Odds 1.40 × 1.80 × 1.90 = 4.79 (approx). A ৳100 bet returns ৳479 if all selections win; if any one loses, the full ৳100 is lost.
Betting Exchange (Back and Lay)
Alongside multi bets, mostplay Bet also has betting exchange markets where you can place back or lay bets.
Example: BACK Team A at decimal 2.00 with ৳1,000 — if Team A wins, you gain ৳1,000 (minus commission); if they don't, you lose ৳1,000. LAY means betting against Team A — if Team A does not win, you gain ৳1,000; if they do win, you pay ৳1,000.

Monitor Your Open and Settled Bets
After placing a bet, go to My Account → Bet History to see up-to-date information on all your bets. An open bet means the match is still in progress or the result has not yet been declared. A settled bet means the result has been announced and the win or loss has been applied to your account.
